Abstract

In a nation’s developmental desires and striving, there is the question of which dimension of national development: social development and educational development is pivoting on the other and in the developmental fore. This paper highlights what have been relegated in terms of the matter in contention but in the end posits that educational development is the pivot of all functional dimensions of national development; be it social, political, economic, science, technological etc. since education service delivery that is character, values and attitudinal development saturated will inevitably make whatever dimensions of national development perform to its fullest positive gear.
