Abstract

French as a language could only he acquired within the school system here in Nigeria. As a result of this, various methods m through which teachers could empower its learners in the twenty first century are examined in this write-up. A case is later made in favour of eclectic teaching since each of the methods identified with the teaching of French has its own disadvantage(s).
