ASSESSMENT OF PARTNERSHIP ACTIVITIES AND RESOURCES SHARING FACILITIES AMONG ACADEMIC LIBRARIES IN THE FEDERAL UNIVERSITIES IN NIGERIA

The study assessed partnership activities and resources sharing facilities among academic libraries in the federal universities in Nigeria. The study had two objectives, two research questions and two mdl hypotheses. Descriptive survey design was employed for the study. Fourty federal universities academic libraries with 3551 library staff constitute the population for the study. Eighteen universities with 480 library staff were randomly selected and used for has sample for the study. Thirty (30) items structured questionnaire which was validated by experts was used for data collection.
