ROLE OI^QUALITY ASSURANCE IN ENHANCING STUDENTS' PERFORMANCE FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

Quality assurance refers to the systematic review of educational programme to acceptable standards of education and infrastructure are being maintained. Students performance refers to the level of students' academic activities in the classroom and assessment. The level of standardization in management and infrastructure in higher institutions is determined by the university regulatory body's degree of enforcement of quality assurance, which influences students' academic performance. However, some factors can affect the degree of quality assurance on students' performance, such as poor funding, poor policies implementation, poor government interest and management factor. Therefore, this position paper recommends a regular supply of funds, effective policies implementation, high government interest, and management orientation.
