Abstract
The study evaluates the effect of Leadership Skills and Organizational performance in Independent National electoral commission Abuja. The main objectives of the study are to ascertain whether leadership skill has effect on organizational performance in Independent National electoral commission Abuja. The research design method used for this study is survey design. This design was used so as to capture the entire domain of the study. The primary data was obtained through the administration of questionnaires. This was supplemented with secondary data. The population of the study was 400 out of which a sample of 1354 staff of Independent National electoral commission Abuja as sampling size. The data generated primary source was presented using table and frequency with their corresponding simple percentage. Quantitative method of data analysis such as Chi-square was used to analyze data, while content analysis method was used to analysis the secondary data. The findings from the study reveal that “Leadership skill has play in role importance in enhancing organizational performance in Independent National electoral commission Abuja. The study recommended that the existing democratic skill of leadership practice in Independent National electoral commission Abuja should be sustained for the benefit of the staff and the organization
