    This study is an attempt to appraise strategic planning and the growth of micro enterprises in Keffi Local Government area. It finds out the significance and role of strategic planning towards the growth and development both small and medium enterprises. The research adopted questionnaire and interview to gather data for the research. The findings of this study revealed that organizational performance and survival is a function of strategic planning, it recommends that organizations should accord priority attention to the elements of strategic planning considering the high percentage in favour of the three tested hypotheses, it can be reasonably concluded that at 95% confidence, strategic planning enhances performance and survival.
