Abstract

The study aims to examine reproduction of healthcare system and family planning among women in selected areas in F.C.T. Reproductive health occupies a central position in the identity of the health as well as the development of a given population. The study further assesses women reproductive health status whereby literature was reviewed and demography transitions theory was adopted. Survey research design was used and both primary and secondary method of data collection were used. Descriptive and inferential statistics were used for the analysis of the data. Findings revealed that majority of women were unable to benefit from the reproductive health care service. They validated access to care, contraceptive needs, access to healthcare needs.
