dc.description.abstractThe power, speed and sophistication of the internet as a communication medium in an information age cannot be overemphasized. Its popularity has also attracted criticism and worries over the effect of such medium on the youths. The research employed social survey method with the instrument of questionnaire together data. Two hundred questionnaires were distributed but one hundred and sixty were retuned and used for the analysis. The findings revealed, among others that the internet have negatively affected education. Morality and culture of the Nigerian youths. It is therefore recommended that limits should be set for the usage of the internet to enable families and society monitor what the youths do with the internet.en_US
