dc.description.abstractThis theoretical paper dwells on post traumatic stress disorder, learning disability and psychological adjustment. The paper examines how children who experience traumatic events like crises, challenge of food, sexual abuse and insurgent attacks could develop difficulties in learning. The paper presents extensive literature reviews on pathophysiology' and risk factors, psychopathology and nature of traumatic events. It recommends psychopathology and Guidance and Counselling as interventions to enhance optimal adjustment and improve learning among students who sufferfrom Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.en_US
