This study examines the significance of teaching and learning facilities in fostering entrepreneurial education among Library and Information Science (LIS) students in universities. As the field of LIS evolves and embraces a more entrepreneurial mindset, it is essential to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to thrive in an increasingly competitive and dynamic information landscape. This study identifies various teaching and learning facilities that can effectively cultivate entrepreneurial competence among LIS students. The study identifies several key factors that contribute to the development of entrepreneurial competence in LIS students, including practical hands-on experiences, access to cutting- edge technology, mentorship programs, interdisciplinary collaboration, and experiential learning opportunities. These factors enable students to acquire critical skills such as innovation, problem-solving, business acumen, and adaptability. Moreover, the study highlights the role of university libraries as ideal platforms for providing these teaching and learning facilities. University libraries can serve as innovation hubs, offering spaces for entrepreneurial activities, access to emerging technologies, and resources that support the development of entrepreneurial projects. Collaborations between LIS faculty, library professionals, and industry experts play a vital role in shaping the curriculum, designing entrepreneurship programs, and providing mentorship to students. The study also emphasizes the importance of integrating entrepreneurial education within the LIS curriculum, ensuring that students are exposed to business concepts, market analysis, intellectual property, and marketing strategies. Additionally, interdisciplinary approaches that encourage collaboration with other departments, such as business schools or engineering programs, can foster a more holistic understanding of entrepreneurship.
