| dc.description.abstract | The work was designed to assess issues and challenges of poverty eradication through community development in Wamba Local Government. The work adopted a survey method, as the instrument of data collection; oral interview and research questionnaire were used. The analysis of the questionnaire was done using percentages. The study revealed that the various communities in Wamba do not participate in alleviation reduction of their area. The major causes of poverty in Wamba Local government are religious and economic crisis. Based on the findings, we suggest the various communities in Wamba should effectively participate in poverty reduction of their area as a strategy for it development in the Local Government Area. | en_US |
