Effect of Primary Healthcare Programmes on Rural Development of Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State-Nigeria

| dc.description.abstract | The study looks at how primary healthcare programmes impact on Primary healthcare in Rural development of Sanga local government area of Kaduna state. The study employed Taro Yamani statistical technique to narrow down the total population of the study area, which ended up at about 377 sample size. The methodology employed in the study is the multiple regression analysis using analysis of Variance method to analyze the data collected through the primary data sourcing. The result revealed that Sufficient Hospital equipment shows a negative relationship with the dependent variable (primary healthcare service delivery; The Availability of drugs shows a positive result meaning there is effective healthcare service delivery; qualified medical personnel contributed positively to effect healthcare service delivery but at a very low level (below average). Furthermore, result obtained from the study revealed that there have been no enough healthcare facilities spread across Sanga local government area. The study therefore recommended that to achieve a sustainable healthcare service delivery in Sanga local government area, there is need for the provision of all necessary hospital equipment including drugs and qualified medical personnel spread evenly across Sanga local government that can cater for health challenges encountered by citizens in the local government area. | en_US |
