| dc.description.abstract | Age long efforts designed to harness the creatives, skits and resourcefulness of Women for all round rapid national development in Nigeria have not yielded desirable and impressive, result considering their(women) representation in key legislative, judicial and executive positions in government as well as party leadership, This paper therefore examines how women have fared m Nigeria United Nations International Convention on Elimination of all Forms of Discrimination Against Women (United Nations' Beijing Platform for Action etcetera) to which Nigeria is a signatory. Liberal Feminist theory guided the paper, while data thereto were generated from secondary sources of textbooks, conference Republic proceedings on Women and United Nations' resolutions among others. | en_US |
