Abstract

This paper Assesses recruitment policy and Implementation at the Federal Civil Service commission: the paper analyzed, ’ recruitment policy and how it is implemented by the commission? The research methodology adopted in this research is the documentary research method. This method consist of documentary evidence from the federal civil service commission such as civil services hand book and manual and secondary sources of data collection were used. The secondary sources used included journals and textbooks. The information were analyzed using deductive reasoning and simple percentages as tools of analyzing these data. The study revealed that the commission has a recruitment policy
which stipulates the kind of people to be appointed into the service. This study found that, recruitment into federal civil service is determined by federal Character Principle, the recruitment system is interviewed with qualification, experience,
