Abstract
The study investigated the ethical issues in science education in Nigerian Universities. Descriptive survey research design was employed. The population of the study comprised all lecturers of Faculties of Education and Natural and Applied Sciences of Nasarawa State University, Keffi. Simple random sampling technique of hat and draw was applied in selecting the sample for the study. Consequently, twenty lecturers from Faculty of Education and thirty lecturers from Natural and Applied sciences Faculty were selected. A total of 57 respondents out of the population of 105 were used for the study. Questionnaire was the instrument used in the study. 57 copies of the questionnaires were distributed to the respondents and 57 copies were collected. Frequency counts and percentages were used to answer the research questions and Chi square was used to test the null hypotheses. The finding of the study revealed that the level of compliance to ethical issues in science education among university lecturers in Nasarawa State University, Keffi, was high. Based on the finding, it was recommended that all institutions responsible for the establishment and operation of graduate and doctoral research education should include courses in ethics in their curricula and institutions should create conditions that are favourable for the practice of ethics in science education.
