dc.description.abstract | Since the launching of the National Health Policy Initiative (NHPI) in '1996 Nasarawa State has made considerable progress in developing the basic infrastructures of health facilities in the state. This paper examines and evaluates the existing Local Government Areas (LGAs) development patterns of health sendees in the LGAs to see how far the NHPI objectives have been i accomplished. The study has shown that the provision of health care facilities in Nasarawa State j has undergone vast expansion in the last decade. However, improving access for all population 1 sectors is skewed in fazmir of well developed LGAs. Efforts should and can be made to ensure j fairness and equity in the provision and distribution of health care facilities in the state to ensure good health for all. | en_US |
