Abstract

The research revolves around the poetry of description by the poet Aqeel bin Ali bin Muhammad Bauchi, and its main goal is to highlight the poet’s literary treasures and determine_ the extent to which he has reached in line with the modern Arab literary path. The research approach is an approach of induction and analysis in the study of these poems, and .the research contained the basic elements of research and then previous studies, and presented a historical overview of the poet’s life, then spoke about descriptive poems, and concluded with the technical 'analysis of descriptive poetry in the poet’s poetry. In the end, the research concluded that the poet has controlled nature over his sense, as he is pulling away from the arc of nature in all his purposes, and that his poems have been characterized by objective unity, so each poem of them deals with one purpose that has not departed from it. Since descriptive poetry is a very old topic, it originated from the pre-Islamic era and began (o evolve with the development of civilization until it ended into the modern era; However, the poet did not deviate from the framework of the three types, which are: the description of the natural environment, the description of the civil environment, the description of the intangible phenomena, and' the description of the natural environment and the description of 'the civil environment tire the two that went with the lion's share in his poetry, and that his poetry is authentic in that it is printed African-Nigerian character in the framework of mutual influence.
