Item Open Access Comparatives Study of Antisocial Behavior Among School Children of Public and Private Secondary Schools in Nasarawa LGA of Nasarawa State(Department Of Educational Foundations, Faculty Of Education, Nasarawa State University, Keffi, 2018-05-20) Shafa, A.Yunus; Ahmadu, S. S. Omaku; Aminu, Danladi AbubakarThe study investigated the difference in antisocial behavior exhibited among secondary school students in Nasarawa Local Government Area of Nasarawa State. The subjects are 352 secondary school pupils drawn from four secondary schools, two private schools and two public schools, 88 participants from each school. They were made up of 176 boys and 176 girls. There Age ranging between 12 and 20 years. Two hypotheses were tested. The first was that there will be a significant difference in the rate of antisocial behavior between public and private school children. While the second hypothesis was that, there will be significant correlation between male and female on the antisocial behavior. The results obtained revealed that the public school subjects exhibited higher ability to engaged in antisocial act than the private school subjects on the measures of delinquency trait scale.
