This work examines how e-governance can improve service delivery in the Federal Civil Service Commission being a veritable tool in realising a digitalised public sendee. The study was guided by the communication theory. Its suitability of the theory stems from the fact that it with the technology of the transmission of information between people, machine and machine. Both secondary and primary sources of data were used, interviews and questionnaire were administered to complement existing and relevant literatures. The study reveals that egovernance in Federal Civil Service Commission will improve service delivery in relation to the core mandate of the commission. However it will lead to staff redundancy or downsizing. The preparedness of the Commission towards this drive however remains doubtful. It is therefore recommended that the government must show some relative level of commitment to this to work, particularly in the area of finance as e-governance project is capital intensive.ene-Governance, e-Govemment, Service delivery, Information and Communication Technology (ICT)ELECTRONIC GOVERNANCE AND SERVICE DELIVERY IN FEDERAL CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION: 2010-2017Article
