The subjects for the study comprised of 120 teachers (78 female and 42 male) selected through random sampling technique. The instrument for data collection was questionnaire. Mean score and t-test statistics were used for data analysis. Results showed that chemistry teachers in secondary schools do not use project regularly in the teaching and learning process. The findings showed the challenges posed by knowledge of the use of project to secondary school teachers which translate into the acquisition of skills in the use of project for aiding instructions in schools. Finally, the study recommends a number of strategies to enhance effective use of projects in secondary schools.enThe Use of Project as a Comprehensive Instrument for Assessing Chemistry Learning Outcome in the ClassroomArticle
