This paper examines the role played by Nigerian Arabic poets towards development of peace and security in Nigeria. Three scholars are chosen for this purpose; Sheikh Abdullahi bin Fodio, Sheikh Adam Abdullahi Al-Ilory and Dr. Yahuza Ahmad Zaria, representing classical, modern and contemporary poets respectively.
