The study dwells on dependency theory in unfolding the causes of underdevelopment and the contribution/relationship of Corporations and its relationship with Third World underdevelopment. This research in its conclusion, recommends that the aspirations of the host nations to welcome the multi-nationals with the hope of drawing technology from them have become illusive and that Africa and Nigeria in particular should re-direct her efforts and refined her national policies in order to attain desired development.enMultinational Corporation (MNCs), Underdevelopment and Third World Countries, Dependency.MULTINATIONAL CORPORATIONS (MNCs) AND THE UNDERDEVELOPMENT OF THIRD WORLD COUNTRIES: THE NIGERIAN EXPERIENCE.Article
