A total of I25NGO staff were used as respondents. I*rimar\ data for the study were collected using a set of structured questionnaire while data analysis was clone using frequency, percentage and mean scores. The results-showed that the mean age of the respondents was 55years. most (5*1%) of whom were married. Majority (51.2%) of the respondents were holders ofFLS£/l INI), most (68.8%) of them were computer literate and their mean annual income was N? 577.d08.00. The core agriculture-rural development activities of the NGOs were microllnance/agrieultural credit (%%): women and youth empowerment (62.1%) and extension services (49.6%) among others. A greater proportion (16.4%) of the respondents had very high level (70% and above). Majority (88.8%) of the respondents expressed need for training in Statistical Package lor Social Sciences (SPSS) followed by 85.6% who needed training in General Statistical Package (GKNSIAT).
