The paper further discusses the rationale or justification for part-time and sandwish programmes, low admissions requirement, poor organization of programme, low quality of lecturers, and ineffective administrative machinery among others, were identified as major factors affecting quality of parttime/ sandwich programmes. Consequently, institutionalization of Quality assurance units in tertiary institutions, adequate funding of Education, uniform l I Quality Issues in Part-Time, & Sr^iwich Programmes of Nigerian uniform admissions requirement, time duration and staffing conditions with full time programmes are suggested as some of the measures of improving quality of part-time and sandwich programmes in Nigeria's tertiaiy institutions.enArticle
