The objectives behind the critical study were to unveil the impact of Local Government Rural Development. The samples were drawn from official Traditional Rulers and members of the Rural Development in the Local Government. The stratified random sampling technique was use in drawing the sample size of forty (40) respondents used. Structured questionnaire was designed to give equal opportunities of .options to all respondents: It is revealed in this work that Local Government could best handle rural -development affairs,' local government is seen as the government nearest to the people at the grassroots, where rural development programmed is carried out at the national level of government to ensure it successful implementation.enThesis
