This paper adopts library research method for composing the analysis narration. The descriptive approach is the main tool in explaining the data. The study revealed that all thought not guided by true, authentic, and universal knowledge is uncertain and therefore unauthentic. The paper concludes that in Islam there is no science for the sake of science and no knowledge for the sake of knowledge.
