The aim of this work is to examine the matrimonial life of the Muslim Umrnah in Yobe North of Yobe State, Nigeria, and the role played by the Imams of Friday Mosque in resolving family problems in the area based on the teaching and guidance of Islam. To achieve these, primary and secondary sources were used for data collection; analytical research method was adopted for the analysis of the collected data. The findings show that, Friday Imams have been exhibiting their efforts to resolve disputes related to matrimonial affairs among the people.
