Survey was used to elicit information from respondents. Findings show that Benue State has been actively involved in using radio for knowledge and adoption of agricultural innovations.by % farmers especially in the Fadama III Project. Such innovations include improved variety of seeds, soil selection and application of fertilizers of various types; preservation methods, judicious distribution of crops as well as livestock farming and fish culture. The general conclusion reached by the study is that broadcasting is the appropriate channel of development communication and Benue State Radio Service is making tremendous contributions to the development of agriculture in the state.
