dc.description.abstractThis study examines at the stumbling blocks that impede the development of entrepreneurship in Nigeria. A nation cannot develop without a flourishing entrepreneurship, while Nigeria has being clamouring for economy development entrepreneurship which supposes to channel this development is faced with a number of problems. Using literature survey, the sturdy identified that the major stumbling blocks impeding entrepreneurship development in Nigeria among others are: lack of capital, government actions and lack of proper understanding of the business environment. It was concludes and recommended that entrepreneurship is not all about having a business idea and innovation, government should as a matter of urgency should improve the deplorable status of infrastructures, especially electricity and that prospective entrepreneurs should undergo entrepreneurship trainings.en_US
