dc.description.abstractSince independence in Nigeria fiscal federalism has been practised in the country for decade’s now yet, it appears not much has been done in terms of development at the local level. Using Gurara, Suleja, and Tafa local governments as case studies, this paper is aim to assess the impact of fiscal federalism on economic growth in Nigeria Local governments, (2007-2016). The aim of this paper was to find out whether there has been low level of economic growth at the grassroots level inthe developing country (Nigeria). The study want solutions to these challenges. The researcher will use secondary data for the study. These data will be explored and draw conclusion in the outcome of the research. The study willadopt qualitative approach to analyseand assess the impact of fiscal federalism on local government development in Nigeria.en_US
