dc.description.abstract | ABSTRACT The aim of the paper is to discuss the idea of Islamic guidance and counseling which will lead to acquiring positive education for societal progress and development. The paper used a contextual analysis to collect and analyze data. In order to do so. sacred texts especially the Glorious Qur'an and the some traditions oft he Prophet (SA W) were used in the paper. Findings in the paper demonstrated that positive education in Islamic spirituality mostly centers on Islamic guidance and counseling. The paper concludes that the Islamic approach to positive education is very optimistic and pragmatic with full consideration of human nature and its capacity for growth. | en_US |
