In African, it is believed that the chief purpose of marriage is to provide a means of perpetrating the continuity of offspring in their communities as an important obligation. The struggle to help childless couples realize their dream of becoming parents triggered scientists to carry out intensive researches on the subject matter of reproductive techniques to assist couples who may need the procedures. The remarkable advancement in the achievement of the techniques in recent times provides a palliative measure as hope is provided for couples by the discovery of suitable techniques to intervene in the problems of infertility. This paper seeks to make a conceptual discourse of the various reproductive techniques in order to help people in decision making who may like to choose a method without depending solely on other people for such a sensitive decision.en_US
