dc.description.abstract | This study seeks to assess the spread of Islam among the Nyankpa ethnic group of Panda Development Area of Kara Local Government of Nasarawa State, Nigeria. A interview method was used to gather data from people in Panda Development Area. Data were collected from primary and secondaiy sources and analyzed using historical and descriptive study design to assess the spread of Islam among the Nyankpa ethnic group of Panda Development Area oj Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State. The results of the study reveal that illiteracy, poverty, language barriers are some the common constraints hindering the spread of Islam among the Nyankpa ethnic group of Panda Development Area. The study recommends that Muslim organizations and associations like the Jama'atu Nasril Islam, Jama'atul Izalatil Bid’ia Wa Iqama tis Sunnah, Fityanul Islam, Nigeria Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs etc. should assist in providing all the necessary infrastructure and other basic facilities including Muslim scholars and Da 'awah agents that will aid in spreading the message of Islam among the people of Nyankpa ethnic group of Panda Development Area of Karu Local Government | en_US |
