dc.description.abstract | Becoming useful to self and the society is not easy. It is particularly difficult for young people of secondary school age who are adolescents battling with the biological changes that confront them, vis-a-vis their academic work and their adjustment to conform with the norms of the society. The paper looks at the concept of counseling and those who constitute secondary school dropouts. Reasons for drop out are examined. The paper further highlights the concept of self reliance and the need to expand appropriate counseling frontiers to deal with the issues of the school drop out. | en_US |
