Abstract

This study centres on productivity in public service. It has special bias on Federal Ministry of Education Abuja. In carrying out the study, four research questions are posed, these question were later administered to the respondents, collated and presented in chapter four. The study made various findings based on this it made some recommendations amongst which are projects after being awarded should be periodically reviewed. This practice will help in checking the activities of abandoned projects. Recruitment whether in the private or public organizations should be done with utmost sense of honour and responsibility. There should be stringent measures to deal with anybody who tries to cheat. Recruitment must not only be done but it must appear as have been done.
