Abstract
Transmission dynamics model for -HlV/AlDS, along the line of Mckendrick-Forester age-structured model is proposed with the natural mortality rate and the fertility functions assumed to bE age depended, similar, to Doma, Gurlin-MacCnmy definitions. The solution^ to the governing equations are obtained and the steady stales are examined for their local stability. The model is further extended to study the case of constant mortality . rate and an exponential type of interaction function. It is observed that the endemic steady'.exist, and. .. asymptotically stable.
