Abstract
Afghanistan has been the main place where the act of terrorism is on the increase such as; suicide bombing, kidnapping boarder attack, attack on civilians and diplomatic has been posing a great threat to humanity and continue to disturb harmonious international relations at the detriment of global peace and security This paper critically examined the impact of terrorism on Afghanistan and as its connection to global peace and security, the study utilized secondary source of data, As an analytical method, relative deprivation theory was found to be viable because it is most relevant for the analysis. Perceived social and political injustice and the belief that violence will lead to change have been seen as a major driving force for terrorist attacks around the globe and, in particular, in Afghanistan. Afghanistan's instability creates a lot of problems for the socio-economic and political sectors of the country, especially in neighboring states. Therefore, the paper suggests that the Afghan government should engage in political dialogue to re-build Afghan society's foundations in accordance with its own scheme of thought and customs. The United Nations should also set up committees to track and supervise the operation of counter-terrorism initiatives worldwide, and in specific countries that have finally become soft on this scourge to achieve global peace and security, other areas such as poverty, jobs, health care etc. should be investigated, as these are .off-shorts for global insecurity.
