This paper examines the activities and contributions of Multinational Corporations to the underdevelopment ofA frica (Nigeria) as a result of the Profits maximized by multinationals that are repatriated to the home countries instead of using it to develop the host nations. The study dwells on dependency theory in unfolding the causes of underdevelopment and the contribution/relationship of Corporations and its relationship with Third World underdevelopment. This research in its conclusion, recommends that the aspirations of the host nations to welcome the multi-nationals with the hope of drawing technology from them have become illusive and that Africa and Nigeria in particular should re-direct her efforts and refined her national policies in order to attain desired development.en_US
