Abstract
To Wubbels (2000) Stress is the body's reaction to a change that requires a physical mental or emotional adjustment or response. Stress can come from any situation or thought that makes one feel frustrated, angry, nervous, or anxious. Stress is caused by an existing stress-causing factor or "stressor." Dealing with a serious illness or caring for someone who can cause a great deal of stress. Emotional stress usually occurs in situations that people consider difficult or challenging. Different people consider different situations to be stressful. Physical stress refers to a physical reaction of the body to various triggers. The pain experienced after surgery is an example of physical stress. Physical stress often leads to emotional stress, and emotional stress often occurs as physical stress (e.g., stomach cramps).
