People working in such environment are prone to occupational disease and it impacts on employee’s performance. The study thus examines the effect of work environments on employee performance in selected banks in Kaduna state using descriptive research design. More so inconsistency in the amount of light provided have not significantly enhanced my job efficiency. It is recommended that adequate provision should be made for good lighting. Alternative power supply such as generators of solar energy can be considered at the workplace because investment in lighting will enhance workers’ productivity. More so, proper office space should be created for work privacy and less noise that distracts most of the workers. Workers of similar task can be paired in an office for smooth running of the organization.
