Quality and antihj are important factors in enhancing professionalism in the armed forces wry country and Nigeria cannot he an exception. Nigerian armed forces do l only need hitman resources development but its effective managerial and nptation to changing needs and circumstances. In order to develop human ottrees, there must he constant training. Training here is concerned with thing the armed forces specific skills that will he of assistance to their mediate needs, while, development should emphasize on more general skills d will assist them in. career growth, thereby equipping them for future dtenges. This paper looks at the necessity for the development of human •ources in the Nigerian Armed forces to enhance professionalism.
