| dc.description.abstract | This article discusses the importance of ensuring interoperability and discovery of metadata standards for digital libraries. The author emphasizes that metadata is a crucial component of digital libraries as it helps users discover and access the resources they need. However, the existence of numerous metadata standards makes it difficult to ensure interoperability between different digital libraries. The article explores different approaches that can be used to ensure interoperability and discoverability of metadata standards, including the use of standard formats, controlled vocabularies, and metadata registries. The author also discusses the challenges associated with ensuring interoperability and discovery of metadata standards and provides recommendations for addressing these challenges. Ultimately, the article highlights the importance of ensuring interoperability and discoverability of metadata standards for the success of digital libraries. | |
