dc.description.abstract | Local government administration was regarded as government closest to the grassroot which isfaced with various difficulties to source for revenue from federal government, state government, and these poseconstraints to the smooth running of the local government administration.The local government performs vital functions which include, political education, Mobilization of the popular participation in governance, vehicle for political accountability, among others. The objective of the research was to examine the extent to which revenue generation and mobilization has affected the socio economic development of the local governments. The research will use both primary and secondary data. The data obtained via secondary data wouldanalyze using simple least square regression method.
