ETUDE DE STERILITE A TRAVERS MAMAN A UN AMANT ET A TRAVERS ASSEZE L’AFRICAINE DE CALIXTHE BEYALA

Fertility is a pertinent situation in all the societies of the world. The world all over places much importance in the capacity to reproduce or develop as the case may be. When this competence of reproducing is lacking one tends to blame someone for it and most often it is the feminine gender that is blamed in this regard. Nevertheless, sterility, cannot only be looked at from the scientific perspective. It can also be looked at from the literal point of view where the society can be seen, whether it is sterile or fertile, . Many African writers have'talked so much on the productivity of their societies. One of these writers is Calixthe Bey ala. In this paper, we try to look at the theme of sterility as considered by Calixthe Beyala in her works. We examine to view this theme scientifically, literally and morally just as seen from the eyes of Beyala in her works.
