Item Open Access ANALYSIS OF URBAN GROWTH USING REMOTE SENSING AND GIS TECHNIQUES IN KABONG, JOS NORTH LG A, PLATEAU STATE.(Department of Environmental Management, Nasarawa State University Keffi, 2021-03-03) Alkali, Mohammed; Anzaku, I.M.; Lay, Usman S.; Maren, M.S.This research work examine the analysis of urban growth using remote sensing and GIS Techniques in Kabong, Jos North L. G.A, Plateau State, Nigeria. Data for the study were sourced from the primary and secondary data source. The finding of the study revealed that the most substantial change was the transformation of vacant barren land and rock outcrop to imperious built-up areas.
