Item Open Access CAN E-GOVERNMENT REFORMS ENHANCE SERVICE DELEIVERY: EVIDENCE BASED STUDY OF SELECTED COUNTRIES(Department of Public Administration, Nasarawa State Univerity Keffi, 2018-02-03) Abdullahi, Mohammed; Ibrahim, Ibrahim Salisu; Kumo, Usman A.This paper examined the effect of e-govemment reforms on service delivery of selected countries of Singapore, Tunisia; USA. Denmark, south Korea, Finland and some African countries such as Mauritius and Nigeria, using panel data from the selected'countries, the study adopted descriptive methodology to examined e-Govemment Development Index (EGDI) of Human Capital Index (HCQ and Online Service Index (OSI) to test their effect on timelessness and transparency of service delivery. The study's finding show that Denmark leads in EGDI, followed by Australia, Republic of Korea and United Kingdom, the paper reveals that African countries such as Mauritius and Nigeria lags far behind and therefore show no result in transparency and service delivery. The study therefore recommend that countries must invest in education and ensure students stay in school up to tertiary level in order to improve on HCI and investment in online service(OLS) will help to create a win-win condition for the affected nation.
