    MINER ETYMOLOGY OF THE POEMS OF ASH-SHEIKH MUHAMMAD GIBRIMA,AD- DAGIRY, MORPHOLOGICAL AND LEXICOGRAPHIC, SOME SELECTED SPECIES

    This research entitled: '“minor etymology in the poems of ash- sheikh Muhammad Gibrima ad-dagiry , morphological and lexicographic study on some selected species, stands tdj clarify the roleof etymology in diversifying the meaning and expanding various grammatical aspect.the research consists of basic chapter, previous studies, life of the poet [sh->sheikh muhammad gibrima], life of the carratorof the six selected poems, his teachers and students, his journeys and scholarly contributions the research theoretically diverts, in chapther five, to the theory of etymology between ancient and contemporary scholars, through disscussing the concept of etymology principles and types of etymology, then the relashinship between etymology and semantics and lexicography .in the last chapter, the reseach'deals 'with the min etymology and it,s types in the poems, and treats them accordingly starting by: ism- alfa,il, ism- almaf,ul , asstul- al- mushabbaha, and ism- attafdeel, and ending by-the eneral ifa study on the whole poems.the research depends upon the way of mentioning arial number of the stanza, name of the poem, then introductiong the poem with short explanation followed by morphological and lexicographic study of the poem, some of the important findings of the research are: the total number of stanzas for the whole poems is: 688.ism- aalah and ism- azzaman wal makan have show up in the poems entirely.
